Hot on the heels of the film’s Oscar nominations earlier last week, Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy won the Critics’ Choice awards for Best Action Movie and Best Hair and Makeup.Director James Gunn and star Chris Pratt took the stage to accept the award for Best Action Movie, and before the ceremony the film received the Best Hair and Makeup award, a recognition it is also nominated for at this year’s Academy Awards.
