Reverence Him!
Fear [revere] Him, in all your ways, and worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness. (Psalm 96:8,9){The word “fear” used to mean “revere” in Hebrew, but over time the meaning of the word in our language has changed to “fear” or, “a feeling of terror.” A god who wants you to find rest and refuge in him would never want us to fear him (2 Samuel 22:3, Matthew 11:28, Psalm 111:10)} He is Unmoved: Unchangeable, undefeated Conqueror and Champion of saving souls that are called to repent. He is a Healer: “He was wounded for our transgressions [trespasses], he was bruised for our iniquities [sins]: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes [whipping] we are healed.” (Isaiah 53:5) He is First and Last: the Beginning and the End, the Creator and Keeper of your soul! He is Architect: of the universe and Lord of all time; He always was; He always is and shall be.
